At present, passen- gers traveling along the HZMB on shuttle buses are restricted to a 20kg baggage limit. Cash re- strictions are primarily enforced on mainland Chinese visitors to Ma- cau, who are limited to carrying RMB20,000 (US$2,880), although any visitors carrying more thanMOP$120,000 (US$15,000) must de- clare it at the border. According to Senna Fernandes, at least some of those restrictions are currently under review. “I can tell you that there was a meeting of the MGTO this week and some opinions were ex- pressed in terms of lug- gage limits and money limits,” she said. “Some things cannot be solved immediately but yesterday the Transpor- tation Bureau expressed their determination that they will work on that with the shuttle bus com- panies to solve some of the problems. Macau will be pro-active in solving those issues.
