Scientific Games bringing blackjack back to life

16 November 2017

Always on the lookout for innovative twists on classic table games, Scientific Games is showcasing its brand new Zombie Blackjack at MGS Entertainment Show this year which aims to increase player engagement by providing a second chance to win – essentially bringing their hand back to life!

On any hand where the dealer’s up-card is a 7 or higher, all player busts are moved to the “Back to Life” area. The player then wins their bet and is paid at 1 to 1 if the dealer busts with a total of between 23 and 26 – providing added excitement as players cheer on the dealer to bust.

Zombie Blackjack was invented by Geoff Hall, creator of a number of other highly successful table games for Scientific Games including Free Bet Blackjack and Blackjack Switch.

“Zombie Blackjack has just completed our most successful trial ever for a new table game,” explains the company’s Director, Table Games & Utilities Asia, Justin Keane.

“The trial took place at The Palazzo in Las Vegas with the game being extremely popular. It was also the most popular table game at our stand during G2E Las Vegas.”
